When three counties joined forces, a new kind of hero was born. The Be a Battery Hero campaign brought battery recycling to life with comic book-inspired illustrations and characters that educated and entertained.
Through bold visuals and playful storytelling, the campaign raised awareness of improved recycling services in Hennepin, Ramsey, and Washington counties. By turning batteries into quirky, heroic characters, the campaign inspired residents to recycle responsibly—one superheroic action at a time.
